“WeekEnvs” (De cap a la Natura): weekend environmental activities (2021-Present)

Outdoor environmental activities for families and adults on plenty different topics, focused on promoting understanding, respect and a deep bond with Nature, as well as building healthy and conscious relationships and habits between us and our environment.

Based on both scientific, emotional and awareness backgrounds, trough simple pedagogy, care, presence, joy and accuracy, my proposal aims to be one more way to bind heart and mind together within the loving lap of Nature.

Study of freshwater invertebrates communities and river hydromorphology (2009-Present)

Environmental education and Nature guiding for school, highschool and university students.  Official local guide in the Natural Park of la Garrotxa Volcanic Area and Empordà Natural Parks. Nature guiding for visitors. Academic training for professional educators and guides in specific topics.

Education and information services in protected areas (2019-Present)

Staff in education and information programs in protected areas in La Garrotxa county (Catalonia, NE, Spain): Garrotxa Volcanic Area Natural Park and Alta Garrotxa Area of Natural Interest.

Offering help and information to visitors, managing land use and visitors performance in highly visited areas (tourist honey pots), monitoring impacts, data gathering.

Conservation of plant communities in coastal protected areas (2015-Present)

Coordination of several campaigns and different projects on flora and habitats conservation in Cap de Creus Natural Park (PNCC). Promoting environmental awareness and partnership gathering. Coordinating invasive plants eradication campaigns and developing educational workshops for scholars, elected representatives and professionals. Tasks developed within the frame of LIFE MedCliffs european project (PNCC) and InvaCat program (BIOSFERA), which aims at maintaining the floristic diversity of Mediterranean cliffs, helping to ensure their conservation and prevent biodiversity loss through the management of invasive plants.
